Title II: Territorial scope

Article 6

1. This Directive shall not apply to the following territories forming part of the customs territory of the Community:

1. Mount Athos;

2. the Canary Islands;

3. [1] the French territories referred to in Article 349 and Article 355(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union;

4. the Åland Islands;

5. the Channel Islands;

6. [2] Campione d’Italia;

7. [3] the Italian waters of Lake Lugano.

2. This Directive shall not apply to the following territories not forming part of the customs territory of the Community:

1. the Island of Heligoland;

2. the territory of Büsingen;

3. Ceuta;

4. Melilla;

5. Livigno.
